Astro Entertainment joins the ADJA!

In an continuous effort to improve our services, better ourselves as DJs and sales consultants, Astro has joined the American Disc Jockey Association.  The ADJA has a long and storied history of assisting DJ services across the country.  It also gives Astro the opportunity to mingle and share ideas with other DJs in the market in an effort to improve the DJ community as a whole.  The ADJA web site also offers many helpful hints to consumers looking for the right DJ.

NEW!  Astro PartyCams!  Digital cameras and high def video cams for your guests to shoot the event!

Astro Entertainment recently won awards from two very prestigious wedding-related services, and The Virginian-Pilot.  Knot magazine honored us with a “Best of” Award, and we received our second Bride’s Choice Award from WeddingWire.com. Astro also received The Virginian-Pilot’s Reader’s Choice Gold Winner Award for “Best of Virginia Beach” in the DJ/Entertainment category!

Astro DJ Kurt Etheridge making headlines …literally!

Kurt is one of the hosts of Astro’s popular “Survey Says” game show.  Kurt and technical supervisor Jay Johnson went on the road recently to King George county to entertain the Department of Social Services in a madcap night of fun and trivia.  So much fun that the affair caught the attention of the Free Lance Star newspaper who wrote a story about it.  And the Survey Says click here to read it!
